Codename S.T.E.A.M. 3DS $4 New @ EB Games (was $40)

570

Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. for the 3DS is $4 (down from $40) at EBGames online if you choose PickUp. Best I could find elsewhere was about $10 from Gamesmen.
Stock seems to be going fast.

It's a weird one - $23 for pre-owned (up from $3). now back to $3 pre-owned

Also $6 at Target in store - seems to be low stock (thanks Innamura)

Also $6 at Target if you don't have an EB close by.

Pick this up now if you haven't already. It's effectively a steampunk version of XCOM and it's genuinely great. Horrible cover art and terrible marketing kept this gem hidden from the average gamer's mindset sadly.

its actually a really good game.

    I like this game

  • Wow! Thanks OP!

  • Dammit, I bought in-store at Target about 4 weeks ago for $10. This will be on Hidden Gems videos in about 5 years. Along with many other overlooked new first-party IPs for the 3DS. I also picked up Fossil Fighters and Puzzle and Dragon.

  • thanks!

  • In for 1. Thanks!

  • this game is awful, so slow

    • I've read reviews saying the worst part is waiting for the enemy's turn.

While this is still the case they updated the game to add a fast forward option so it is not as long

      • FYI This has been fixed with the patch (especially so if you own a New 3DS). Just download the update from the Nintendo eShop. A monkey could do it.

  • Steam games on 3DS ;)

Thanks OP, ordered and received pickup confirmation.

  • Local play which means 2 x copies to get it working for 3DS multiplayer. Still a good price though thanks!

  • Got the last preowned copy at Melbourne Central. Cheers.

  • Been 6 in Target for ages now, honestly wondering why it's so cheap everywhere. Doesn't look to be my bag, but it doesn't look half bad either. If I stumble into a copy I might use the left over 4.50 I have on an old EB card on it, cheers OP.
