Will The $20 Trick Work if I Booked The Hotel through Agoda?

Hi,

I will be travelling to Las Vegas later this year. I booked my hotels through Agoda / Expedia, and was wondering will the $20 trick still work?

        so why ask here. The site that promotes it seems to indicate its hit and miss. Some not even getting their $20 back or a room upgrade.

        So how would we know any better?

        Now if you are staying when the moon is full, the dodgers win and trump resigns, then probably $15 in quarters will work 😄

          Sorry, perhaps I should've been more clear. No one seemed to have mention whether they booked via a third party, so I just assumed it was a direct booking. I was just wondering if the heavy discounts of agoda/expedia rule out the chances of the upgrade all together.

    Worked for me a couple of years ago at the Luxor. Got upgraded to a much better room. Got the room for free by playing My Vegas. See the Las Vegas guide for OzBargainers.
