Found this when visited Woolworths at Wyndham Vale, not sure about other Woolworths. Not sure what this is for, but seems like a good bargain.

Umm… Why is an empty tin for $1 a bargain? You get tins for free when you buy some biscuits or chocolates.
But then you still need to "pay" for it to get the tin, so its still not technically, free from your biscuits/ chocos…

Oops. My apology, I did not check Woolworths online, was too excited to post for the first time.
And I feel ripped off for buying the tin and lanyard last week. Tin was $3, lanyard was $1.
In another week or so it'll go down to 50c
Week after, it'll be free in the dumpster
BTW, they usually have a heap of these sort of things left once the collectables are all over and give them away for free.

An arbitrary figure will always cause such outcomes when the item is something that cannot be reduced to less than 1. That said I've found staff to be quite generous with the discs.
I'm open to a suggestion as to how to do it in a fairer fashion but your comment seems petty.
uhh no staff seem to think it was funny - 1 disc $200 spend with fags.
And since this has happened even when I asked many times - and you have to ask to get a disc 50% of the time - no the staff ain't being generous anymore.
I would suggest if you really wanted some help you wouldn't name call.

I probably did misunderstand part of your comment though. If you are saying that cigarettes don't earn discs then I am opposed to that policy and assent to that aspect of your post.
If your complaint is that you have to ask for your discs…I suppose that is something of a very very very very very very very very very very very (oh dear carpal tunnel) very very very very very very very very very very very very (De Quervain's tenosynovitis?) very very very very very minor inconvenience indeed.
