My current phone is broken and I need something delivered ASAP so I'm happy to pay an extra 10 - 20 dollars for shipping.
I haven't used a Xiaomi phone before but I've been told this one is pretty good.
Thanks!

You pay USD10.75 extra for DHL shipping.
I've heard that DHL rip people off with importation fees? Am I likely to have any trouble in that regard?
Hi, You don't pay any as it is under the GST threshold. I just bought a Mi5 two weeks ago and the phone arrived within a week and didn't have any issues with DHL.
Thanks! Did you buy your phone from that Aliexpress seller, Hong Kong Goldway?
I have ordered a Mi5s from Hong Kong Goldway and waiting for delivery.
I bought Mi5 from this store with similar DHL shipping : https://xiaomimi.aliexpress.com/store/2800188

Check out all the grey importers Gearbest, Banggood.,AliExpress.
I currently am using Xiaomi Mi pad 2 and phone (I think Redmi note 3).
What ever model you choose make sure you get Band 28,if you want Telstra 4g. Also some of Miui (Android os) require a bit of work to get Google play to work. Heaps of forums to help doesn't take long. Lots of tweaks and a few custom Ron's if you are brave enough
