  • What does this do?

      PlayStation VR is Virtual Reading.

You put them on and you simulate the experience of sitting reading a book, except the book is virtually projected in front of your eyes.

What an amazing time to be alive!

      • Sounds perfect… would go nicely with a virtual cup of coffee

        isn't VR for virtual reality?
        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_reality

        • Nope, Wikipedia is wrong. It's definitely Virtual Reading.

        • @Gimli: If you're whooshing me, your joke failed.

-Edit- Damn my brain… two spelling mistakes.

      • Playboy magazine compatible?

  • Shame it doesnt come with the move controller addon as well. Good price though.

Besides the PS Move Controllers, you'll need a PS4, and a PS Camera.

Update: That deal doesn't even have the PS Aim!

      • Sorry yep - thats what I meant … didnt realise that they named a piece of plastic the "PS Aim" … got to love marketing departments

        • Does the PS Aim actually have the move controller built in or is it detachable or is it bought separately?

        • I stand corrected see below.

        • +2

@Where's_That_Cake: The aim controller has the move built in.

      • I have a PS camera from the PS3, and the PS3 move controllers. Will they work? Or do I need to buy PS4 versions?

        • Do any PS3 games/accessories work on PS4?

        • @cdestratis: actually the move controllers do

        • Camera no, move controllers yes

        • -1

@cdestratis: The Move controllers do but the camera doesn't.

The HTC Vive has better reviews?

  • My advice is try before you buy if possible…

Don't get me wrong, psvr is ok, but I was still disappointed with the resolution, lack of AAA games coming out for it etc…

Feels like an expensive novelty product that I should have waited a few more years for when the technology is better and cheaper.
