    after Cashback

    I doubt the cashback is exclusive to Thirsty Camel… So is this the best price before the cashback?

    • Don't forget you also get to be in to the Hump Club.

      • -1

        I'm married, so that's not such a big deal… Could be a good incentive for single OzBargainers though…

    • $50 for 150 lashes seems pretty competitive

      • Similar price at Dan's without need for membership.

        Also, with Dan's you get cashrewards..

        • +5

          Oh I thought it was $50 to watch you get lashed 150 times 🙁

        • +2

          The whole 3% as compared to the $15 cash back from the deal posted in the OP? Give it up jv.

        • -3

          @Porthos:

          compared to the $15 cash back

          you obviously didn't read the discussion in this thread.

          the comment was written when it was not clear the discount only applied to one retailer.

        • +3

          @jv: Only 'discussion' was yours taking it on a tangent. It is exclusive to Thirsty Camel with the $15 cashback, not to DM's. So your comment was completely wrong to begin with.

        • -3

          @Porthos:

          taking it on a tangent.

          You mean like your comment above, knowing quite well that the deal post was unclear the cashback was exclusive.

          Seems like you have difficulty in comprehension.

    • +13

      Well JV , IT IS exclusive to Thirsty Camel ! how about you click on the link before commenting for once …

      • -7

        how about you click on the link

        I did, but it asked for personal details…

        • +2

          It asked for a birthdate that identified you as being 18 years or older.

        • -2

          @scubacoles:

          Yep, I'm not willing to disclose it though… Identity theft and all that……

          @jv:
          OzBargain professional tip..
          Any date older than 1998 will allow you access to the site without revealing any personal information.
          They don't even require 100 points of ID!!

          thanks. I'll pass that onto dad (not)… :P

          he just stepped out to walk the dog…

        • +1

          Yeah I'm with JV, it asked me for my postcode… next someone's going to knock on my door. Totally not cool

        • +1

          @jv:

          Right, because you don't do ANY online shopping where you input any personal details, being one of the users with the most comments on a site that contains mostly online deals.

        • -2

          @cdestratis:

          you don't do ANY online shopping where you input any personal details

          When I do online shopping, it is with a store I have an account with… Here, all I want to do is read the T&C's. I should not have to enter any personal details to do that.

          Can you please explain to me how that is any more secure than this situation?

          I can read their privacy terms before giving my info…

        • +1

          @jv:

          That still doesn't explain how your information is always safe from identity theft.

          I bet you think you make sense all the time mate, and I'm sorry to be the one to tell you that isn't the case.

          I didn't say it was, but if they break their privacy terms & conditions, you have legal recourse.

          I see, so you're going to sue some company because your date of birth managed to leak to the public?

        • -1

          @cdestratis:

          ACCC might.

      To claim $15 cash back, purchase any case of James Squire (24 bottles only) from a participating Thirsty Camel during the promotional period.

      (emphasis added)

      So it's NOT a similar price after cashback…
      and it IS exclusive to Thirsty Camel…

      • Doesn't mention that in the post, and you need to give the site your personal information to find out… no thanks…

        • +1

          You don't need to give personal details actually. Go to the reward.zone link, scroll down to direct links to the FAQ and the Terms

          But you don't need to enter it to click on the terms…

        • @Spackbace:

          It did when I clicked on the link

      "To claim $15 cash back, purchase any case of James Squire "

      That's what the cash back site says.

  • -3

    Dan's have this for $50.95 and you don't need to be a member, so really only a 97 cent saving…

    • Yes but there's no humping.

      • Or clubbing. That's what really seal'd the deal for me.

    • imagine what you can do with 97 cents !!!

      • invest it.

  • A clever ozbargainer might look to pick up a case of the Squire IPA - 1/3 case extra in standard drinks for probably an extra tenner…

  • It's showing up on the website as under the specials as being $52.99 already? I don't see how exactly we're meant to use the Thirsty Special membership?

  • +1

    Will pick this up tonight. Signed up to the Hump Club and can see where to activate to get the bonus "JAMES SQUIRE $49.98 24X345ML" offer but am wondering whether anybody knows if we can use multiple offers at one - there's also a "NEW HUMPER MY OFFER PURCHASES OF $40 OR MORE*" offer. I can't find the additional info footnote to match asterisk.
    Would be a pretty rippa deal to get $15 cashback from $40 spend.

    • Worth trying
      I could only get one voucher applied, though the cashier didn't seem very certain…

      • Id be all for trying but there's 6 hours after activating the offer before it expires so I'd miss out if it was rejected

  • If I sign up online now, do I wait for a card from them or just walk and tell them I am a member?

    • +1

      You sign up online and can immediately get access to the vouchers from their website logged in.

      • +1

        Where are the vouchers? I can't see anything at all that even points to one, maybe not valid for WA?

      • ive signed up online but i havent got any vouchers or anywhere to click to see member specials?
        I have logged in and out about 5 times now!
        Thoughts?

        Also in WA… http://wa.thirstycamel.com.au/account/ ?

        • When you sign in to Hump Club they are under my offers , I also get them via email . Perhaps not a WA thing

        • Went to my local Thirsty Camel, also in WA and they don't know what is a Hump Club… So not for WA.

      • so, I have to purchase online?
        Cant just walk in and pay cash for it and get it for $49.98 ?

  • +2

    Just picked up a slab

    I was unable to get it at the hump day member offer of $49.98, but could instead get $10 off the original $54.98 for signing up to hump club. I was only allowed to use one special/voucher apparently… May have better luck at other stores

    Therefore only paying $44.98 before cashback.

    Getting the slab for $30 when this cashback comes through:)

    • $10 voucher for signing up? I can't see it
