      No idea what the health benedit claims are but since I've been drinking it I fart a lot less than I used to.
      6 months latet and my family are 100% still alive.
      Fun fact: kombucha actually means "seaweed drink" in Japanese. We call it the wrong name lol.

      Ideally your first brew will be no more than 2 litres as the starting SCOBY can only process so much. The SCOBY will grow in size overtime and can then be reused to support larger batches.

    You can easily get one for free from friend or on Gumtree. Not worth it.
    PS. I have get one from gumtree 2 months ago and now have soooo many of scoby in my scoby hotel. They multiples after each brew.

    Who would buy it when you can get it for free?
    Just Google it or check Facebook or Gumtree.
    There is a wide community out there who will happily give it to you for FREE.

      Why do people go to nurseries to buy plants when they can potentially get them for free? Or buy bottled water instead of drinking tap water? I chose to buy it because for $18 delivered to my door I'd prefer not to have to organise meeting with a random stranger.
