Telstra New Prepaid Plans from Tuesday 16/05/2017

Hello,

I was chatting with some Telstra people today and after some long chat. They said new plans (Called Prepaid Plus Plans))are coming from Tuesday May16 2017 but didn't disclose any information. They said the new plans should be on the website on Monday though.

Does anyone know anything about it..? I hope they are bringing back Google Play billing thing So can I switch from Vodafone :)

    How much value were u gaining off the old telstra prepaid plans with google play?

    How much do u spend now with Voda per month?

      I used to pay $40 with Telstra to get unlimited phone calls and use that credit to buy stuff at google play. With vodafone I pay around 30 sim only contract expires this month :). But can't go back to telstra as they don't have freedom plus plan before

        I'm on boost $30/mnth.
        Unlim calls and 3GB anytime + 1GB every weekend (up to 7gb).
        Auto topup set so it is 12 x $30/mnth.

        Telstra 4g network… $360/yr.

    Last time here plans were revised their value went downhill. Probably more of the same again. The grandfathered credit scheme is unlikely to be coming back.

    Prepaid plus is the current offer, i think you mean the day2day offer which is coming out on the 16/5. This will give you unlimited calls and texts + 100MB a day and will cost $1 whether you use it or not, if you use more than 100MB it auto bumps by $1 for another 100MB, so only good for those who talk a lot and use very little data. Telstra is phasing out carrier billing for Google play so no more Google play credits can be expected with any new offerings.

    Beyond talk will be grandfathered

    This isn't going to be of interest to committed prepaid-plus, freedom-plus or freedom users, is it?
    Still to be released and with no speak of add-ons availability.

      True I shouldn't have left the freedom plus offer by switching to Vodafone :(

    Any one know the best place to get/buy a freedom plus sim..? If anyone has a spare sim that's good :)
