Samsung G3 Station 2TB 3.5" External HDD $145 MSY

Just noticed that MSY have dropped the price of these 2TB G3 external HDD. I paid $159 just a few weeks ago, so this deal is bittersweet haha.

I don't know why, but on Staticice the price at MSY is $142. Price on their parts list is $145. I listed the higher price just in case. Maybe someone can shed some light on this?

This drive has a 3yr warranty.

This drive is fine for media storage. My PVR plays content flawlessly. The only quirk is that it is an 'eco' drive so it goes to standby after a period of inactivity. Which is fine if you are watching movies, but not that good if you are working off the drive intermittently (it takes a couple of seconds to spin up).

Keep this in mind!
