It is not about the brand but the type of shoe. The Brooks Addiction are shoes for people with pronation, hence the price. Brooks Beast are for extreme pronation people and they are more expensive than the Addiction.
Usually shoes with support for people who tend to pronate are more expensive.
Go get elocution lessons if you have trouble with pronunciation.
