GUANQIN are a fairly large Chinese watch making company. They make affordable watches plus some more expensive models in the $100 range. Their build is decent for the price. This China cheapie is certainly no automatic grail piece, but a decent design and specification for the low price considering the Japanese movement, sapphire crystal, small seconds and stainless steel compared to many watches in this price range which are plated. The caseback is snap-on, so changing a battery is simple when the time comes. Let's not get too bogged down in the auto vs quartz debate, since it's only $20.

Several dial colours are available finished in stainless steel and gold. MOD: Affiliate link removed.

• Imported Japanese quartz movement - Miyota (made by Citizen)
• Classical round dial and Arabic numerals scales
• Small seconds at 6 o'clock
• Date at 3 o'clock
• Durable genuine leather band and pin buckle
• 30M water resistance

• 40mm diameter
• 10mm thick

40mm should fit most wrist over 6.5 inches.
The seller is GearBest, so obviously you won't be getting it in a week.

  typical review:

  CONS:
  Acrylic crystal (Specs say it is Sapphire).
  Crystal is very reflective and 'ringy' (reflections off off sub-dials), hard to read at certain angles.
  Very limited lume on hands, and no lume on hour-markers.
  Chinese Sunon PE90 movement w/plastic gear.
  Pop-off case-back.
  Chinese battery.
  Price is a bit high considering the lower-end movement and probable acrylic crystal.

    So is it actually glass or sapphire?
    Pretty incredible to have sapphire on a watch this price…
    (I would believe sapphire coated, which brings up the scratch resistance quite a bit)

      well according to that review, the company says 'sapphire' but its not even glass, its acrylic, ie. plastic

    Movement is Miyota and sapphire crystal as verified several times in the 'Affordables' section on WatchUSeek. It has been posted there several times, notably by one member who lives and breathes his China watches and factories. There is no reason to doubt him considering his vast knowledge and he hasn't been called out.

    I'm not about to post a watch with a 5c Chinese movement and acrylic…
