I pre-ordered mine from JB and I have yet to receive the pre-order bonuses… They said they haven't received the GearVRs into their stores and to check again later. First time I asked, they said end of April, last week they told me end of May.
My question to those that did pre-order, where did you pre-order it and have you received your pre-order bonus? Secondly, what can I do if I don't receive my pre-order bonus by end of May as they stated?

Pre order with jbhifi in Adelaide. Got SMS the VR headset was ready on Monday, picked it up same day!
There's not much you can do if it just hasn't arrived yet..
Have to say, thought it was crap and I'm selling it.
I just want the gear VR so I don't have to keep thinking about it, plus there is two things I wanted to try with it…

2) Apparently you can stream VR PC games to the gear VR so I want to use it as a cheap Oculus/Vive alternative.

Pre ordered from Woolies. Arrived with the same box.
Pre-ordered from Optus, got the phone and Gear VR on 24/4.
Pre ordered two from woolworths mobile. The phone and VR were in together in a big box. Came around the first week of April.
Seems to me it might only be my JB HiFi that is having this issue… guess I'll give them a call tonight to see if it has arrived…

I got the Gear VR with mine and can't get rid of it. I don't want it and it seems no one else does.
really wish it was the watch instead of the VR…absolutely no use for it.
Ironically after 3 weeks of no interest I did sell my Gear VR today after I made my comment complaining about it, how's that.
Well, I ended up calling last night and finally got mine… They said they were going to msg me as soon as it arrives, obviously not…
Anyway, had a quick go last night, I still haven't tried to take a dump on the Himalayas yet since I don't know how yet but from my first impression definitely not worth the wait. The controller starts to go off centre (towards the left) when you hold it still, it seems to also limit you to the VR space, I haven't really played around with it too much so I'll probably do a bit more research over the weekend.
I received my phone on 21st April and got my VR last Monday. Already sold it for $100 as the VR had no appeal to me and also sold the AKG headphones for $95 as I already had a decent pair of Sennheiser in-ear earphones. Very happy as it brought down the cost of my phone by $200 :)
How did you get the AKG headphones? I thought that pre-order bonus was for US only.
Oh, I meant the AKG in-ear headphones which come in the box with the phone. I'm not sure why they're called headphones but that's the official name.
