Quantity Surveyor in The UK

Hi everyone,

I have an investment property in the UK, does anyone know what company/organisation does the equivalent to our Oz quantity surveyor for the tax depreciation schedule.

I've called up RICS in the UK and they gave me some numbers to call but none were able to help or even understand about depreciation schedule.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

  This thread says that depreciation isn't allowable in the UK, so I think you will struggle to find it as a service:

  There are a number of online estimators in Australia who will provide a schedule following a questionnaire. Perhaps you could encourage one to prepare such a schedule for your UK property? Who knows, if you filled out the questionnaire with your UK answers they might quite reasonably offer their best estimate, giving you a basis upon which to rely for your deductions.
