Hi, first post, hope everything is ok. I was part of an installation at the refurbishment of the Hungry Jacks store in Circular Quay today. Tomorrow is the reopening of the store and the store manager mentioned that they will be offering $1 whoppers.

It's such a 80's design area, all the shops on the precinct are out dated and just not with the times.

their registers may have upgraded like 505 george st store. New HJ register do not accept survey receipt code (even collect in their store) for free bbq cheese, then put blame on us customer gave them incorrect survey code but it work on old registers store. so a not so good news in longer run.
take screenshots of the codes with you - they can't refuse…..
Receipts from new registers work with new registers. Old receipts don't work with new registers. They do blame the incompatibility on the customer, which is lame.
used 505 george st new receipt code. is not working as well. but bring that to 252 pitt st old register is work

I've had some shocking experiences at this HJ'S; even had to go all the way to their franchise manager to get one sorted out (ended up with them offering me pretty much anything I wanted for free one day).
Rude staff, slow service, massively overflowing bins, unclean floors.
Perhaps the refit will make it look nicer but there's bigger issues afoot.

Hi, I do apologise but my boss went there this morning to finish off and he told me that the store is still boarded up outside and there's been some delays so it seems like the store won't be opening today unfortunately. I will contact the project manager today and find out when exactly the store will open. Truly sorry about this.
