Game is fun on a bun.

    • That is the best kind of fun!

  • I got excited because all the promotions for this discount had said 25% off normal and 21% off DD, so I virtually sprinted to the store only to find that we get 21% off normal and only 13% off DD :(
Why the personal non-recommendation for the DD, OP?

    • I finished this game completely, the deluxe version doesn't give you any extra content, just some extra weapons and armour and you have to buy from merchants anyway. Might make the game a bit easier but it's kinda easy as it is. I finished it on hard which is pretty rare for me. If you do all the hunting ground quests you get some nice extra weapons in the base game. There's a special armour you can get near the end of the game but I finished 90% of it using the same mid level armour I picked up right at the start.

      It's subjective I guess.

      • As the person above me said, the deluxe verion primaryly gives you some armour and weapons. As far as weapons are concerned, you can buy much better 'purple' grade weapons yourself if you just spend a little bit of time gathering the necessary resources that the merchants will need. The deluxe version comes with only 'blue' grade weapons which are inferior to the 'purple' grade weapons. I was actually surprised to learn that you pay extra and dont get any purple grade weapon after you pay extra cash to get the deluxe version. You start with 'green' grade weapons which is one step lower then the 'blue' grade weapons, but this game is no wonderful, gathering necessary requirements to get a 'purple' weapon is not very time consuming at all. Also the difference between 'green' and 'blue' weapons is not much at all. And as far as the armours that you get from the deluxe version, again you can get yourself better armour from the merchants, not to mention that once you go towards the end of the game, you get a chance to pickup a special armour, note you do need to activate the side quest to get this special armour as this special armour quest is not given to you by default, and once you get the special armour, you will probably not use any other armour as this special armour is so good. Makes all othet armours virtually redundant. Again this is subjective and varies from person to person as the poster above me has notified, but atleast for me, if I can get better weapons and armour myself while playing the game, I cant see the reason to pay extra and get inferior of the same. But it's your money, your choice.

        • Wow, so weapons etc aren't even better? The hunting grounds stuff you get for all blazing stars is better than purple grade. Wasn't really a fan of the special armour in the end. Basically just a health boost, doesn't offer any protection other than that. As in, fully upgrade speciality armour can give 100% protection against particular damage types. Also, I did most of the game with blue stealth armour I picked up before the proving even. Once I got special armour things were running over to attack me from miles away every where I went.

          Also, was ugly AF.
