Sort It Apps Pro Upgrade for USD $1.99 Per Mobile Platform for 33 Apps - Android, iPhone & iPad, Normally $38.99

I got the basic Movie App years ago to take note of my Movie collection on Blu Ray and DVD, but didn't upgrade to Pro as the cost was too high for me at $9.99 and found another app that they also develop that was cheaper that would achieve the same things.
Today I received an email offering to upgrade to Pro for all 33 app in the collection for USD $1.99 per mobile platform.

On iOS it is Au $9.99 per app to upgrade, or a group of 4 for $22.99., or complete collection $38.99 For Android it is $7.99 -$8.66 per app upgrade, I can't see a collection offered.

  • Why not just use Plex?

    • Plex is a media server and then a client side player, not even remotely similar to any of these apps.
The one I used was the Movie collection, it is for adding Blu Rays and DVDs you own for indexing, so you know what you have in your collection. I found it helpful to stop me from buying the same movie twice as I would forget if I actually purchased it in the past. You can add all of these by scanning the barcodes on the cases.

I guess if you then rip your movies into a digital format and have them added to your Plex Media Server, then it could be a similar result, but that is still a completely different path to take.

      • Oh right, so it's for keeping track of hard copy goods. That would explain why there is also an option for alcohol. That's actually a pretty cool program but it's not for me!

  • Hi Op,
I have digitised all my DVD/BD.
Would the desktop software scan digital contents to create an initial catalogue?
i.e. So I don't have to manually scan one by one all the physical items.

I used to use mymovies, which had the capability to scan folders and match their online catalogue.

    • Before anyone recommends plex again. I need a catalogue only without a dedicated medi server turned on all the time. Already have a streaming solution on NAS.

      • Just tested it on the Mac, and no, still need to scan or add manually.
What are you using on the NAS?

        • Thanks.
Twonky on MyBookLive. Bought a licensed Twonky and manually upgraded the stock Twonky. So far so good.

        • @royale:

OK, so not an indexer/scraper, just a DLNA server, which can't help for this purpose.

  • For complete app list on Android. Type the following on Google Play search bar:

  • It worked perfectly, cheers OP!
