ING Living Super

I have my super funds with ING Living Super for about 3 yrs now and decided to leave them in next few weeks due to their significant changes on the fees structure in 1st June.

Basically have a rough idea where might be good to go. e.g. ANZ Smart Choice, EISS Super or maybe Hostplus.

Just wondering who currently with ING will stay with them and why? If leaving what are your suggest place to move super funds to? What are most cost effective super funds out there you can find?

cheers

  • My son is with ING and is now moving to Hostplus.

I've moved across to Hesta as a result of the changes. I'll still be paying similar fees, but I'm protesting that the plan I was in was advertised as being more or less fee free, and now it's not.

  • I was originally with Hesta, switched to ING last year, and am now probably going to move to Hostplus.

Will be interesting to see how many people end up switching.

  • I'm leaving; likely going to Bendigo Bank

    Bendigo MySuper
Annual fees: member u/55, with $50,000 in Bendigo Growth Index Fund
    Administration fees $98
    Indirect costs $229 ($50,000 x 0.457% pa)
    Total annual cost $327*

    • I'd left Bendigo for ING!

  • Chant West is an independent company which rates super funds in Australia, and they give ING a score of 3/5, while many others are managing 5/5: https://www.chantwest.com.au/fund-ratings/super

ING is turning bad on all fronts:super accounts, online savings, everyday accounts.
They got people in with good deals and now they think that they can change things and people will stay. Hopefully people will teach them a lesson…

    • The people who turned to ING in the first place are probably motivated enough to leave them if they start jacking up fees.

  • thanks for input!

Looks like Hostplus super is way to go. with Indexed balance option only. I hope they wont change the indexed balance cost once I join.

guess anyone still with ING super can choose route as well!

  • How is Unisuper? I am thinking of moving to them.
