Antihistamines for Kids and Adults - Where to Buy? Cheap and Reputable

Would like to know where some ozbargainers buy antihistamines from and brands/types.

Currently using Telfast/Claratyne - adults
Zyrtec/Claratyne - kids

Prefer to use websites like iherb that are more reputable but more expensive but still cheaper than Australian pharmacies rather than buying from India/China through ebay due to partners paranoia

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

  • Buy the generic ones. I got a pack of 30 for about $12 from my local discount pharmacy (compared with $22 for zyrtec). Generic medications, by law, have to be (almost) exactly the same as the branded ones.

    • The main reason why a doctor would prescribe branded is the size/shape of the medication. The dosage is the same, some tablets are smaller in size/shape so the elderly and children can swallow them easily.

Just wander in to any Chemist Warehouse.

    • That's where I normally buy them from

I was hoping to find them even cheaper from oversees suppliers

Why bother when they can be had from as little as 33 cents each (maybe even less) from Australian brick and mortar chemists?

For that 33 cents a day (assuming you can get them FREE from overseas) you get stock that has been tested and approved for use in Australia, with quality control up to our standards.

Compared to overseas stock where the quality is UNKNOWN. You could be getting sugar pills and you wouldn't have a clue.

I bought this Loretadine, and it was great!

edit: just saw you didn't want to buy from ebay!

It is called a chemist. Maybe you have seen them around. Did you also know you have to use some sort of liquid to swallow them?
The amount of stupid questions in these forums is crazy.
How do I breath. How do I human etc.
