88pts - Dense fruits on the nose with some spice and rose petal. Really well balanced lush palate, spices well integrated with dark fruit. A little jammy at the end of the palate. Medium length. Really enjoyable wine, and a great wine to slow cook red meat, fantastic QPR88-89pt St Hallett Black Clay Shiraz 2015 $7.67
Black fruit, lighter notes, pastille- like blackcurrant; a little mintiness that segues to the palate.
It's soft, juicy, some good drying tannin that is certainly not out of place; gives a little firmness to the soft introduction. There's spice, sweeter edged. Moreish to boot. Excellent value given the price. 8990-92pt St Hallett Faith Shiraz 2015 $8.75
Deep red/purple colour, with a charred-oak, smoky, savoury bouquet. The wine is full-bodied and firm, deep and dense with a serious grip. The oak is a little obvious right now, but it's just a pup. Pepper and spice aromas emerged with aeration. Black fruits. A gutsy, solid wine that will reward some cellar time.
Tempted but the range of wines has decreased a lot - wbonder if my existing Den dollars are going to be honoured once we migrate to the new site
