    Better off spending a bit more on a Seiko or Citizen at these prices IMO.

      Agreed. Choice of brand really is about preference. I find the models I pointed out to be pretty chic and classy, and Citizen and Seiko don't have something similar at the price. Just my outlook and reason to post as well.

      Skagen's sell for around AU$130-150's on the lower end at David Jones and the like.

        Probably aren't..best would be that the quartz movement is Japanese and the rest from China.

        The way all big brands like to put it these days 'Designed in <insert country name>' & 'Made in China'

        I'd rate them above Guess and the like for design(just women's).
