I have been waiting for over 6 weeks for an item from these guys. I would not buy from them ever again.

    • +1

Did you track it? Mine arrived Sydney and auspost said hold up by border security. Is it battery not allow any more?

      • No it's the xiaomi mi box

        • +1

I ordered a Mi Box from them mid march too, still hasn't arrived and tracking hasn't changed in over a month.

        • +1

@groook: yep exact same situation as you.

        • +1

@dlakers3peat: I had a mate order one a couple of days after me and his arrived almost 2 weeks ago, i'm not holding out much hope of it arriving.

        • @groook:

Did it say arrived in Australia?

        • @superforever: No he says tracking didn't update beyond leaving origin country in late march

        • @groook:

OK, my powerbank said arrived Australia but no more update after that, wondering where is it now.

May be it will appear after months.

      • Mine also got stuck in Sydney. I asked for refund and got it back on PayPal. But the problem was pay pal exchange rate caused to lose $1..

I ordered my Xiaomi 10000mAh Power Bank 2 on 28 Feb and still haven't received it. I asked Banggood for a refund last week which they happily gave me.

    • +1

Me too I got a refund.

  • +2

i received a counterfeit Xiaomi power bank from them and they refused to refund me.

    • How do you know it was counterfeit? I've bought many from them and never had a problem.

      • the cable supplied is completely different to the genuine cables that come in the box. the writing on the power bank looks completely different to genuine ones.

        • +2

The cable in the boxes varies between models. As for the writing, to my knowledge, there are some with English on the bottom, while others have Chinese on the bottom.

        • no its printed wrong not in different language

        • +3

@schwifty: Oh, I have no idea then. I've purchased several Xiaomi Power Bank from Banggood, all have been genuine; only problems is that it takes ages to arrive.

    • I've also purchased a few Xiaomi Powerbank from Banggood in the past, and they have all been genuine.

      • look back at some of the past posts about 20000mAh and ull see others have had similar problems some got refunds others didnt

        • I also purchased a Xiaomi 20000mAh from them at the start of the year. It was genuine, except it took longer then usual to arrive.

        • guess im not as lucky as you doesnt change the fact that they do have sellers that sell counterfeit goods

      • Same. Never had a parcel not arrive either but 2 months waiting is usual ;)

My experiences with Banggood are always good.
    Seriously Good.

I ordered one of these 28th February and it still hasn't arrived. I contact Banggood and asked them why the delay. They told me it got blocked by the post and would I like a refund.

I asked if they can simply resend it. They refused saying "It will just get blocked by the post again".

So I opted for a refund 2 days ago.

Would never buy from them again. Ridiculously slow or non existent arrival.

    • Not their fault for silly lipo laws overseas if that's whats blocking them

      • Doesn't matter whose fault it is….at the end of the day I never get my item.

Not worth bothering ordering through them…

        • Fair enough, however there are many other things I've ordered through them without fault, and some stuff I have (some drone parts DOA) they gave me an instant refund after showing a video of it not working.
Can totally agree for you though that if they won't send you this item then not much point ordering it from them.

    • That is the risk buying from overseas if the post blocked nothing they can do. You should not buy from overseas anymore if you don't understand the risk.

    Would never order from them
Waited 6 weeks for a power bank and when it arrived It looked like a counterfeit with different printing than the usual xiaomi print

    • Unfortunately 6 weeks isn't all that bad =( there are a few somewhat reliable ways to check a fake. I find the little 'mi' printed on the inside of the USB A port is a good guide.

    • How do you tell?

      • printing on it was differnet to other of the same xiamoi powerbanks i have
The sticker with the sratch off code wasn't on the box

    • The power bank I got looked like it was already opened but the code still verified on the website.

  • I've ordered maybe 10 things from them over the years and everything has arrived. I always tick the free postage and i know i'll have to wait a month or 2. I've found the tracking to be a bit ridiculous. It'll show as arriving at Australia Port or something odd like that but then still take another 3 weeks from there.
Oh and if you want an alternative there is this 20,000 mAh with QC3.0 for $22.69 delivered

  • I bought some Blitzwolf USB cables way back in January (!) and they still haven't arrived. Ended up asking for a refund last week which they gave me. Ordered them again but ticked for tracking this time

Seriously guys, buy this sorta stuff from Australian distributor. I bought one on ebay from lanplus_australia on Monday for $30, arrived yesterday. Save the $5 somewhere else and save the stress of getting a refund.
