Had 12 at Brisbane CBD Store (8 now). Also had a heap of 1m ones. Says support 2amp charge. Sold out of 1.5m ones but might have some stashed away.
EDIT Seems pretty sturdy. Confirm charging at 1800mA (which I think is limit for my tablet).

Oh well. At some point a few years back after buying a few few Kmart home maker things, I started religiously saving receipts.
I was there last week and asked the guy to take down the clearance price from the empty shelves, they'd been empty for 2 weeks …. he said they might restock so wants to keep the shelf space LOL.
If I'm there and they have an item great, click n collect great, but can't see myself camping out like a new iPhone release.
They seem to love this "in store only", would preffer click and collect and they send cancelled order email to save the walk.
I think the Dick Smith clearance manager has found a new job …..
Damn - bought for $10 last week, might get another if in stock!
yeah same!
oh well, I couldn't find any stock showing near me any longer, so I guess I got in just in time.
What are people using 3 metre cables for?
when you're in bed and needing to charge at the same time :)
use phone or ipad on the couch or in bed, whilst charging.
particularly in hotel rooms, where outlets may not be conveniently located. also can use a single multiple-port charger instead of having to use two chargers (cable can be routed behind the bed to reach to the person on the other side of the bed).
Xbox/PS4 controllers
I bought too many cheap charges, but they keep disconnecting if you move you phone or whatever. So I just bought an Anker cable and it works fantastic. I had a a consol cable, thumbs down.
