Hey everyone - I want to purchase a few 360 games from Zavvi.co.uk, however it seems I would be charged VAT tax with the order (I have seen many a post which say that Zavvi automatically deduct VAT from the shopping cart), however this is not the case for me. I know I may seem a bit harsh on them (with their already good prices and all) but I really want to save as much as I can (15% off is remarkable to say the least) so I was wondering if there is another process, through which I have to go in order to get the VAT deducted, or if Zavvi even offer VAT deduction?
I have already emailed them about half a week ago and they haven't replied so if anyone else could/would help me here it would be much appreciated.

ive always found ebay.co.uk better for cheap 360 pal games, sounds dumb to ask, but have you price checked there too?
Thanks Beaker, all I wanted to know.
@Max I haven't checked there yet, but I will now.thier FAQ say VAT will be charged for UK deliveries, meaning Australia should be exempt from VAT. did you ever get a response from them, or work out how to remove the VAT from the order?
I don't think Vat isn't included in the checkout price. We just get it for whatever price is stated and pay 0.99 postage per item.
got a resposne, a pretty standard one… "VAT is charged on UK orders over 15 pounds" or whatever the limit is. And they asked what items i was ordering.
I have replied saying that the order is from australia (not the UK), and therefore should be exempt from the VAT. I also gave them a list of what i was looking to order.
Will see what response i get.
Not hopeful, but worth a shot, cos VAT is quite a % of the price.
I don't actually see how lawfully they can charge the VAT to o/s orders if the seller is asking for it to be removed.
zavvi do not deduct, amazon and dvd.co.uk do
