Hi all,
I am heading interstate for a 2 day conference. Just looking for ideas on what I can claim come tax time in addition to flights/accommodation?
Cheers

The conference is related to my profession (continuing professional development) and I am not being reimbursed by my employer. Thanks
I would assume tickets to the conference & reasonable food, drink and refreshments so long as you were to keep the receipts.
Probably transportation costs to and from the venue.
This is by no means financial advise on my part.
Thanks again!
Don't worry about claiming for tax, just get in touch with your friendly neighbourhood bikies and they will give you a mystery package to insert in a body orifice before you board your flight, and then you can hand it off to an associate at the other airport. That should pay for your entire conference.
There isn't any room in my suitcase with all the headphones my Colombian mate gave me
edit: but there is room in my body cavities now that you mention it..
did you edit that once you did a poo?
You fit 15 pairs up there?
insanity
Is there a limit of how far the course needs to be away to be classed as away from home
I'm sick of getting the hour train home for the course I'm on,
Depends if it is related to your income.
Whether or not you're reimbursed by an employer.
