A leather card holder - The Horse or The Daily Edited (tde)

I have been looking for a decent card holder for myself, and came down to these options. Either with the Horse or the Daily Edited. Did anyone have ever come across with both products and can give a review?

I know tde's products are more of the "hard" leather as I checked them out at the store. But no idea on the Horse's one.

    The TDE one means you don't have to pay an extra $25 for monogramming as it's included in the cost of the item.

      Yes i notice that too. Though monogramming is not really my thing ;)

      I'm guessing TDE has free monogramming as it's how they attract customers - customization for all products. Whereas the Horse seem to be more focus on their watch business. Some of my friends have got watches from them and the qualities are good too. i'm just not sure about their card holders

        you do realise that The Horse or The Daily Edited probably are worse quality than what I linked?
        the MRS has a TDE and the leather if its even that, is thin as paper.

          Unless i get to see some samples of those you have listed, i'd believe that those from tde / the horse would be of better qualities.

          @Gelato: Why? Because they have fancy looking websites, you believe their quality is somehow better? It is not like either are well-known brands or have physical stores do they?

          I know literally nothing about card holders, but there are many sites for all types of goods that just purchase from Alibaba, etc, and sell at ridiculous mark-ups (with frequent sales) in their home country. I am thinking of watches in particular, but there are lots of other examples.

          No idea if the stores linked fit this category, but something to be aware of.

          Edit: Just looked at The Horse site and realised they sell watches as well, which look a hell of a lot like cheap $10 chinese watches with their logo and $200 price tags on them…

          this is todays youth,
          a girl from work purchased a case for $80 from JB Hifi because she wanted it today, i showed her the Aliexpress link to it and said you could have had lunch with me and the case and have $40 change.
          She thinks Aliexpress is a scam site because its always so much cheaper……………….

          @djkelly69: There's actually been a previous post that called out the fact the Horse's watch are the ones found on Chinese websites for a fraction of the price.

    No experience with either. My Baubridge & Kay one has lasted me many years (soft but strong leather) but just googled and they've gone out of business.

    DJs in the CBD have a good selection from memory. Have you had a look?

      Ahh such a pity that the brand is out of business, otherwise i'll certainly go for a look.

      Checked at DJs and they don't seem to have many options nowadays. Perhaps cardholder is not really a thing for female fashion :( I notice more card holder options under men's selection though

        Oh yeah, I was talking about men's. But I suppose you could get a men's one if you liked it.

    Have you considered Mon Purse? I ordered a customised pouch from there and the service and quality is great.

    TDE does have saffiano leather whereas Mon Purse doesn't. Not sure what your preference is.

      Thanks for pointing out the leather facts for TDE. I overlooked that part.

      I had a mon purse card holder before and it didn't last too long…

    Mon Purse will replace anything that's faulty so you should ask them? Saffiano leather which TDE has is a far lower grade of leather than what mon purse use.

      Luckily it is still doing fine
