Hello Ozb community!
I'm travelling to Thailand in June (26th June-16th July) and asking for a shout out to get the best deal on the internet at the moment. If anyone could help me that would be excellent and if you are a travel expert/veteran could you tell me of any places to go while over there and other tips whilst i am over there. This is my first time travelling overseas, so as much information as possible will be very much appreciated!

You could fly a loop with AirAsia Syd - Phuket (Via Kul), then Phuket to DMK (Bangkok) Then DMK to Syd (Via Kul), or the other way around. I prefer Bangkok to Phuket (Stay Patong beach), but considering that you have 20 days, then this is a good way to see a couple of places. In Bkk young people prefer Khao San area, and the not so young prefer Sukhumvit area in which there are some great pubs and restaurants for foreigners. In Bkk, for the inexperienced, I would recommend Citadines Hotel Sukhumvit Soi 8. Best prices are by becoming a member at http://www2.citadines.com/en/index.html at about $60 - $70 per night & sometimes they have sales at about $50 - $55.
