I'm about to purchase my first GoPro and would like to get an additional SD Card, LIGHT pole, tripod, remote control and portable charger. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Also, can any Xiaomi power bank be used to charge the batteries/remote control?
Extra batteries is a must, also external battery charger that can do multiple batteries. I have legit & knockoff ones, but don't notice any difference.
If you think you will be using the audio, buy a USB Mic that will mount on the side… Less than $15 on Ebay & a lot better than the built in one.
Spend a couple of dollars on a Neutral Density filter & the basic frame so you can mount to a tripod without the water proof case.
Don't need the remote, just use the App. Even just install it on a spare phone to just do GoPro stuff.
If you have a 3D printer, there are a heap of cool accessories on Thingiverse to print.

Sorry, 5 is waterproof, I have 3's & a 4.. forgot that that was a change with the 5.
Have GoPro Batteries, and no names… both fine at doing the job. If anything, gopro 4 seems to run hotter when using GoPro Batteries.. No idea why…
Hero5 doesn't accept no-name batteries. Sucks eh?

I use wasabi Batteries for mine and they worked a treat overseas, got 1 and half hours out of one battery while doing Maricar in japan
