Is It Possible to Get Instant Liquidity in Share Trading?

Hey guys,

First time poster, long time lurker.

Just wondering if anyone has found an app to quickly transfer funds from their investments into their transaction account?

I saw some chalk graffiti while grabbing yumcha in Chinatown today where I saw this link:

Is this even possible?

If you are using a ASX Broker you are looking at T+2

      This is the correct answer.
Immediate liquidity is not possible, but may be in the future with the ASX investigating block chain technology for their CHESS ledger - think bitcoin like transactions instead of T+2

I'm not sure you know what you are asking/talking about.
Most brokers will offer a cash management account of some sort. I happen to use westpac, and they will auto settle asx trades against theirs and allow instantaneous transfers between accounts such as their high interest saver.

Liquidity is when there is a suitable counter party to your trade, if you are talking about the stock market, or immediately available "at call" investments if you are talking about your own or a business' access to resources.

I am assuming this is a sock puppet post?
The linked account looks pretty meh.

From the FAQs, it would seem mosaic won't be very useful for those that manage their money effectively. It claims to move your money around to earn the highest interest rates but you need to give them your account logins. No good.

In Chinatown I'd expect the "chalk grafitti" to be in Chinese… lol

  • What would APRA say? lol

Have to see if they need to be an ADI or something…

Yes, this post looks pretty sockish.

Anyway, what you ask is certainly possible at igmarkets.com.au. If I get what you're asking.
