I have had mid-range galaxy phones for a number of years (bought outright) It looks like I need to replace my current phone and I don't know whether to stay with Samsung, whether to look at refurbished iPhones or what to do. I don't use my phone for gaming etc, just the usual basic functions. What phone would you advise?
Thanks

For the price of a mid-range Samsung you could buy a high-end Xiaomi. Mi5 for instance is around $300 AUD after conversion and it beats my Galaxy S5 in terms of performance.
If you don't like china-droids you could also try a Moto G4 Plus, which is a mid-range device running stock Nougat. Absolutely liberating with no bloatware.
Moto G4+ would be my recommendation.
do you need awesome camera? or ok camera?
a lot of awesome china droids out there (but awesome camera function seems to be missing on the lower priced -but with great other specs- china droid phones)
Windows phones are my recommendation
Homtom HT17Pro or HT20Pro
