  • Any bargains?

    • +7

Starts tomorrow but I'm going to say yes there are bargains.

    • Cheapest I saw was $34 for kids shoes. Adults cheapest was $60. However skechers was $19-$29 for better shoes…

  • +26

you're invited to stand in two lines to find some mediocre stock.

    • +12

Last sale i got 2 pairs of air max 90s BR all black and all navy blue, a pair of all black Roshes and all black flyknit airmax 1s for $220 total. the flyknit airmax 1s themselves were $220 in store at Footlocker/Hype. Guess it just depends on your tastes.

      • they once had camo low cut jordans 11 40% off at the factory outlet

i was so close to getting them but the colour was a bit off…

        but Jordan 11 low cuts!

        • -2

invisible pants are the best pants

      • I agree, it's nice to find something you like.
        Are you sneaker freaker?
most of the time i go i don't see anything i want.

        • definitely. best scores i've had at auburn have been og air max persian bw ($80), og infrared air max 90 ($60), og ultramarine 180s ($90). Go in every couple of weeks to see if there is anything new.

Depends what you're after, what sneakers do you like?

        • +2

@astrotrain: og infrared air max 90 ($60) now those are decent price

        • @striker5950:
Sure were, back wall stock so the box had lid torn off. more happy about the persian bdubs though paid retail when they first dropped then copped the second at the outlet for my everyday pair.

  • you are super fast poster!

At the time of posting this message, 10 people disagree with you.

      • now 49 people.

          Self fulfilling prophecy

been to the South Wharf store last weekend. very disappointed about the range of stock they have. hopefully there are new stocks/models coming up this weekend.

    • +4

They are less likely to have new stock when there is a sale. They've been doing it for years

    • Me too. Do you think Bundoora might be better ?

      • I have never been to Bundoora store so I don't have the answer. South Wharf parking is a pain too if you take that as consideration I will prefer Bundoora.

        • i just park on street near sth melb side - about 10 min walk to dfo

  • I thought there was a store in SA near the airport?

    • +5

LOL its SA we have nothing we are a third world country here

    • Haha nah that's the adidas outlet, there's a regular nike store in town though.

      • Nike store in CBD and Marion

        • I'm pretty sure this sale is only at nike factory outlets as the title suggests.

  • Any idea if they will have a good range of basketball stock? I'm looking for a new pair of game shoes and some other basketball accessories.

    • Depends on which one you're talking about. I went to the Auburn, NSW one on the weekend and there were barely any. I think a 2014 or 2015 pair of Hyperdunks and some Jordans (could have been casual) - only had a quick glance and nothing stood out

  • +1

Jordan 12's for a little over 100, if you guys are keeping track on what you can get in the Bundoora branch.

    • have you spotted any Jordan 12 in Bundoora? That's exactly what I am looking for.

      • +1

yeah man, it's the gym red one's they had a size 10 and 9… I got the size 10 but sold it straight away for 200, the inner arch is sooo weirdly uncomfortable

  • they always have shitty stuff when i go, ill try again this time

  • +3

I still miss the old Collingwood outlet. Docklands and Bundoora are just shit in comparison.

  • Anyone know if they're likely to have footy boots? Thanks

  • -5

LOL i unsubscribed from nike for you

  • +1

Do i have to bring any vouchers in or anything?

  • How do I check what they might be selling?

  • +1

Which store is better in VIC, South Wharf or Bundoora?

  • +7

Bit of an eye-opener on factory outlets…

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8cyvpJYZlk

    • These Nike outlets mostly consist of old stock that was sold at retail stores before.

  • +1

    Some exclusions apply*

I'm guessing all the good stuff will be excluded

    • +1

they always try to sell the shit stuff and leave out the good stuff as exclusions..

  • Is this 40% off rrp or further??

    • -1

      rrp

    • +1

      From the brochure:
Want 40% off already reduced Factory Store prices? Visit a participating Nike Factory Store

  • Nike factory sales can really be a joke sometimes.

It once had a '50% storewide sale'. I went there and there was an unimpressive single row of items laid across the width of the store which was 50% off consisting of some socks, cotton t shirts, and other similarly unsought after items.

The rest of the store was basically priced as per usual.

Good luck with this sale guys.

    • -1

      I would hope

*Some exclusions may apply. Ask in-store for full details.

wouldn't mean a row of socks, cotton t shirts, and other similarly unsought after items.

You could be correct, but I've been to many of their good sales, and it's usually 95% of stock in store is applicable to the sale.

    • Agreed. I don't know why their items are significantly overpriced when other compmanies like Asics and NB are same quality and cheaper. Even 50% off $180 shoes are $90. Anything >$70 for Runners is too much. I recommend you check out TK Maxx (open across Australia now) and Birkenhead outlet in Sydney. And always go to the "Last Pair" shelf in these outlets.

  • +1

Hmm should I go to Auburn or Birkenhead Point? Looking for some tennis shoes and maybe clothes. I've only visited Nike at Birkenhead Point before (window shopping) and from memory there wasn't much there….?

    • wondering the same thing, how does Auburn compare to Birkenhead? might go to one tmr

  • Wonder why the Nike outlet in the DFO near Brisbane airport is not part of this deal.

    • I went there today and bought three pairs of shoes with 40% off. I spent under 150 bux and even got some classic tennis in black leather

  • Anyone been down Southwharf? Anything good?

    • anyone? i'm wondering aswell

  • +1

I was at Bundoora a couple weeks back. These are a few shoes they had in stock back then. If you like Jordan 9 and 10 you're in luck.

    http://imgur.com/a/JCM6S

All prices are 40% off, but I'm not sure if they would knock another 40% off the discounted price for the VIP sale, i.e. Kobe came down from $90 to $54 back then.

  • think it's not too bad, bought a training track pants for $27 and they've lasted for two years, wearing weekly/bi weekly. Bought an Under Armour track pants at a rebel retail store that started to pile after a few washes.

  • +1

In case anybody is interesting in Air Jordan basketball shoes, I called up South Wharf and Bundoora stores this morning and South Wharf has AJ2 and one another causal sneaker. Bundoora has AJ2, AJ9 (aqua color) and AJ10 (Chicago) in size 10.

Thanks for the rep who checked the stocks for me and saved me a trip.

  • +4

Negging because there is absolute crap, why do I always do this to myself.

Coz I'm an ozbargainner that's why.

If your make and around 30 years old don't waste your time.

  • anyone at southwarf mel and wanna save me the trip?
can you list the mens shoes/basketball? any PG1/kyries/KD?

    • All crap, I went southwarf dfo today particularly for men's runners and pants

  • +4

Any one went to Auburn outlet? Is it worth visiting??

    • +4

i just came back, they have a nice variety of stock, Jordans , airmaxs , Lebrons. free run etc , lots of clothing as well.

But i went when they opened and and the crowd was starting to pick up, so would suggest going sooner or later , before all the stock goes or only sizes left are the giant sizes :P

      • +1

Okay will head over there after work….have to work to be able to pay for these things…

      • So what your saying is, being a giant, I should wait till the last day and enjoy a crowd free shopping experience?

        • Go in early before other giants snap your pairs! XD

  • +2

Went to Bundoora outlet… Definitely not worth going, barely anything good there. Not exactly sure why I bothered, a part of me knew it would happen.

If you're a female it might be worth it, but nothing in the mens section.

    • +2

Your an ozbargainner that's y u did it, I've been the last couple of times and have been very disappointed.

Every time I say its the last time, the next nikey outlet sale I see on ozb, I'll save myself the time and not go

      • just curious, the neg because it's a bad deal, or the neg because you didn't like the stock in store?
we all know that stock already in factory outlet stores will be old stock that didn't sell well in the first place.. but now with a further reduced price.

        • To me its not a deal if there is no stock worth buying

    • Doesn't say that Bundoora was part of the deal?

      • +1

Yeah they are a part of the deal, but there's not much stock (a few particular types of shoes but not in colours anybody wants)

  • Anyone been to Birkenhead and can report on stock?

  • Just got back from the South Wharf store. If you don't have more then 1 hr then forget it.
As I left the store about 1:30PM there was a queue of about 15 people waiting to enter the store. The line to pay snaked half the store so I reckon at least a 30min wait.
To me, there were some decent deals, unfortunately I didn't note any deals down. I didn't buy anything as I couldn't wait in line for 30mins since I was on my lunch break.

    • Yep it was around a half hour wait in line! Some good deals to be had but I'm assuming a lot of the stock will go quick with the number of people churning through the store

  • +1

Just got a pair of Free Run 5.0 for $72, thanks OP :)
FYI Birkenhead Point was busy but not crazy, although I'm not sure how much stock/ range they'd have left by Sunday (unless they restock)

    • Get Free Run 5.0 for $72 as well as Roshe One for $54 at Birkenhead Point. From what the staffs say there maybe other sizes at back.
Most of the shoes on shelves are size 10+ (Mens).

      Not much stock for Infants.

  • Got a pair of Air Presto all Black for $75 at Uni Hill

  • Thanks for this post OP! Bought 2 shorts and wife bought a bunch of stuff.

  • not the best deals i've ever seen, for example free runs were $72 but i bought some last year for $55

  • Brisbane DFO one had some nice items. Shame the Jordan training were only in size 10. Got three pairs of shoes including the classic tennis in black leather. Spent under 150 dollars

  • the OP says weekend which means sat sunday, but the link shows friday to sunday, does that mean it started today?

    • Yes started Friday.

      • ok no point going anymore i guess

  • Lol as usual SA is not in there

  • Negged because the sale is crap and nike is a rort. Go adidas :)

    • +1

      Go asics :)

  • About a 50 people long line at DFO South wharf, security only let a few in at a time.
