        • +3

        • +2

    50 shades of blue

  • +6

Not a bad price for a casual shirt, but do yourself a favour and stick to Austen Brothers, TM Lewin or C Tyrwhitt for business shirts.

  • Can return if size's not right?

    • Yes, just please make sure it is returned in the original condition.
      Please see http://www.tarocash.com.au/Help-FAQ/Returns-Exchanges.aspx

      • +1

can you buy online and exchange or return in store?

PS. Great deal OP, should get many more votes IMO as i've seen alot of lousy 'deals' … I paid like $70 for a shirt a few months ago!

    • -1

Don't people know their own size by now? Even if for a gift for someone, still blind faith?
Unless you racing the clock to put on weight and it can't fit you lol?

      • +3

Mate, You do know every brand has different size? Sometime you could fit on S size with A brand but can only fit in L size in B brand?

Or even if you fit, you don't like the fit on your body?

        • If you want to be certain then pop into the store and you will know for sure? This is not Asia where size XL here is equiv to XXXL Asia?? Shoe sizes vary i.e. U.S. size 10 is U.K. size 9. Is there anything else padawan?

  • +9

How are these for court appearances?

    • +10

      Criminally handsome.

      • Underrated comment.

    • +1

You definitely won't be winning over the jury

  • I keep getting 'ERROR
ONLY PENDING ITEMS CAN BE DELETED' every time I try to checkout to PayPal or card payment? It was working fine a few minutes ago, I just left to remove an item from my cart.

Edit: And now it's processed my order - without the voucher code I entered, sigh…

  • What sort of pants do you guys wear? (for office), prefer a slim fit type that doesn't look baggy please

    • +1

Chinos or slim/skinny trousers are in atm.
Cheap: asos own brand, Hallenstein had chinos for $30.
If u live near Zara, they're selling chinos for $40

      • how is the fit of the Hallenstein Chinos?
I've got Asos own brand and some Industry ones

        • +1

Plenty of reviews on the site.
Some say to go a size down, some say size is true.
          Still waiting for delivery.
          Should be appropriate for work.

        • +1

          Got these
          https://www.hallensteins.com/product/park-nova-slim-chinos?i…
          Can confirm true to size.
A bit tight around the calves as I don't skip leg days, but the fabric does stretch so it's all good.

      • +1

Cheers mmd, have never tried Chinos, but they seem to look better than jeans and shirt tucked in lol so will give them a whirl

        • Ive tried a few brands, Industry make the best imo.
They've lasted the longest, hold their colour and are probably the best suited for office attire.
A bit pricey at $80 average, but worth keeping your eye out for if you ever see a sale.

        • They're also more versatile than jeans in that u can dress down with a t shirt/polo and sneakers, or be smart casual with a collared shirt for work/drinks. Add a fitted blazer and you'll look dapper.

        • @juicenburg: I felt the same. Industry ones versus Asos, Industry has better quality cloth.

    • +2

Believe it or not, Jay Jays actually has some decent quality chinos. Decent as in the fabric isn't thin like most cheap chinos are. In terms of fit, they do skinny as well - and they have a bit of elastic in it to help make it stretchy. Keep in mind they are a bit more casual looking, but if you pair it with a nice shirt (i.e. not from Tarocash) and a nice belt, it'd look presentable enough.

      • Thanks Munki, will give Jay Jays a go!

  • Great deal - needed to refresh the dress wardrobe and this fitted the bill nicely!

  • +1

Got 6 short-sleeved shirts for $90 with the code (plus used cashrewards). Cheers to OP and camel! :)

  • +2

All the decent-looking shirts have limited sizes left. You snooze you lose! Bloody OzBargainers! lol

  • +6

Tarocash never change their style nor quality, it's always the same patterns on display with weird colours like Turquoise blue or striped purple & black.
They remind me of the shirts guys wore 15 years ago during the peak clubbing days…total trash

  • +1

Thanks OP bought a few shirts click and collect but missed out on the 20% code, not quick enough but still great price for shirts just got to hope they fit ok.

  • +4

    The code is invalid.

Anyone read this from The Australian today:

"Navis manages $US5bn of equity investments globally and is examining FreshMax as a possible acquisition as it also prepares to list its menswear company Retail Apparel Group through Goldman Sachs. Plans for the float on the Australian Securities Exchange of the retailer that owns brands like yd and Tarocash continues to progress, with the group’s board already in place."

Let's just hope that Navis don't do an Anchorage ala Dick Smith…

OMG …. Tarocash make it so easy to buy online, I just bought a suit and then after paying for it realised the pants dont come in 28, so called a store and they said they are able to swap pants out from an online order, or exchange, or refund in store - even though you bought online…. WOW.

Also, everytime I needed to ring customer service to ask about sizing or another dumb question, they always answered within 3 rings! I never had to wait and was never cut off call got cut off 3 times with Myer - and my online orders have arrived the next business day.

Seriously, Tarocash has exceeded all of my expectations with customer service, exchange/refund policies, pricing and delivery. This beats the pants off my other online experiences with retailers, esp with exchanges and refunds …

"oh - you bought online, NO … you cant refund or exchange in store, even though you are physically holding the stock of the item you want to exchange for right now … you have to send the item back to the online store, and then once they receive it, they can organise a credit or refund. Then you can buy again online or buy in store"

  • great deal and find! Bought 5 shirts and a t shirt. thank you

  • I wish the deal was in stores too. Shipping charges kill the deal.

    • i thought we can click & collect ?

  • +1

Perfect fit! Bought 8 shirts now I am set :)
