Quick question for those who have purchased recently (within about 30+ days). Has anyone received theirs yet? I had a few from previous deals which I received no problems but the last 2 or 3 orders for single ones dont seem to have arrived and this is about 2 months ago.

Yeah, with stuff from China,HK, etc, I tend to buy and then forget about it until it arrives.

      • Damn you OzB. Same here.

        • No I dont think you can blame this on "China". In the same period I have gotta any number of packages from Ebay Gearbest Coolicool Tinydeal etc. Zapals though… and the thing is they're in Hong Kong.

        • @tonyjzx:
I made a post about this not too long ago. My orders from Zapals have been shockingly slow. Month to ship and then problems with shipping. Their prices are great and customer service has been quick to respond, but kind of pointless with how long it has taken to get my orders.

I ordered one from a previous deal, black but not sure whether this is the same model, and did the same with chucking in an old 500gb spinner and was pleasantly surprised with the performance.

  • interesting. I have an old SATA pulled from a laptop lying around, this might make it useful again

  • What is the saving here, say compared to next best shipped price?

    • I bought a similar enclosure for $12 from MSY (picked-up) a week ago out of necessity. Good price, has been slightly cheaper in the past but always good to have just in case you pull out a HDD/SSD in the future.

      • Thats a different model, and moreover local, which ofcourse costs a whole lot more. Not really a comparison as there are countless cheap sites and the wait is usually two weeks from China.

  • If you're buying multiple units it seems cheaper to buy them separately. Zapals remove the cheap shipping option when buying any more than one.

Still cheaper than anywhere else I could find.

  • Any Coupon codes to reduce further?

    Edit: Nothing I tried worked….
    Used cashrewards and purchased…..
