Ryzen 1700 is available from Umart for $429, no waiting required. Don't know why you would spend more money on less cores?

1700 come with AMD Wraith Spire LED cooler which the 1600X doesn't. So Ryzen 1700 with an Asus Prime B350 ($149) is a better combo and better value for money.
The last deal (plain 1600 I think it was) said 1-2 month last week and some people had theirs shipped just a few days ago.
So I think it's more like 'within a week' realistically. Just avoiding overpromising while they wait on the shipment to their warehouse probably.
