Cancel Vodafone Spotify and Join Family Premium

hi all,

this will probably sound like a confusing topic, but ill try my best to explain:

so i canceled my Vodafone premium subscription and it was meant to end on the 24/4. i want to join Spotify directly and accept an invite for a family package, but everytime I accept, it says I cannot because I'm still associated with Vodafone.

however, Vodafone claim that I'm no longer with them and my details on my Vodafone account also state i no longer have premium with them. but my Spotify account still shows i have premium.

any suggestions would be great.

  • Hey so I had the same problem, what ended up happening was that I had to wait for the billing period (vodafone) I was in the middle of to finish and then it was removed from my spotify at that start of the month.

    My spotify premium ended on the 13-14th but my vodafone billing was around the start of the month so I had to wait till the start of the next month (20ish days).

    • Damn, I canceled mine literally 3 days after my new billing period, so I guess I have to wait longer. Strangely, it's taken off my "add on" but it still says i'm connected as a premium member.

      • Yeah bad luck I was like 6 days after my new billing period.

    Sorry as I can't help, but I've had this happen several times and always considered it a bonus (stopped paying for the subscription but still get access for a few more weeks) - how is this causing a problem? Surely you can just accept the invite later?
