Is this made out of the extremely thin PE that cracks easily if dropped?
I would assume so. Juts a case to prevent cosmetic damages (scratches, scuffs etc.)
Yeah it's pretty thin, so wouldn't really be ideal for drops. Mine has held up well but I've only ever dropped it once (and it was fine, but that could've been a lucky angle).
