Any good deals for prepaid phone and data.
We will be travelling Bulgaria, Czech, Germany ans Italy for 1 month and I'd like to find something affordable for the wife and I.

You're lucky OP - as of June this year (officially on the 15th but most telcos will start on the 1st), mobile roaming charges within the EU will cease to exist. Therefore, just pick up a local prepaid sim from the country you'll visit first (make sure to check if data will work abroad as well, not all prepaid plans support that and I'm not 100% sure if that will change) and pay one single tariff wherever you are in the EU. The price per minute/SMS/MB is a lot lower than here in AUS anyway so you'll probably end up spending less money during your overseas stay than you would here in 30 days!
3 mobile uk does a roaming sim with large data allowance, from datago.co
Just enable roaming and only book hotels that have free wifi, has worked for my last two trips to Europe of similar duration.
Plenty of places to access free wifi, ie at stations, on trains, shopping centres, cafes, etc.
Google now allows you to download maps offline, not much else you can ask for.
