any cheap long expiry mobile sim which works on 2g/3g? Mainly for calls and text.

It was a while back I did some research looking for the same thing to put in a Senior's Mobile Alert Device; Aldi Mobile was the best option at the time; about six months ago.

Lycamobile and Aldi mobile both have 365 day expiry.

2G has gone the way of the Dodo though and if you have a phone that does only 2G, you should be throwing it in the recycling bin.

  I have got old dual sim where one sim is on 2G and another one on 4G. Surprisingly I still receive calls on my 2G sim even though my phone shows no network. But i can not make outgoing calls from 2G sim.

    Maybe the 2G SIM is haunted?
    What company is it? I think Voda still has operating 2g.

      2G is Woolworths and 4G is on Kogan..
