I was wondering if anyone has used & can offer feedback about Logitech Circle or Nest camera? I have Hills alarm system installed & want to add camera to home.
I also have qnap nas for potential storage.

Hi, I've been looking for some CCTV gear myself. Hikvision and Dahua mainly.
When you say expensive, how much roughly are we talking about?
Why don't you consider Hikvision cams?

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hikvision-DS-2CD2432F-IW-3MP-POE-…Both logitech and nest are 2mp, hikvisions are 3mp or other model goes beyond 3mp, and believe me, more pixels means better image quality, which important especially when getting images in dark.
i have to admit that setting up Hikvision cams could be tricky, however once you've configured it, it runs rock solid.
You don't even need to subscribe to any cloud services if you're concern with privacy issues, you can open the port then access the cam directly without going through an external cloud service. If you are looking for a security camera system i would not be going with Logitech or Nest.
These systems are very basic and due to being wireless are very easy to hack into.
I have just recently brought a CCTV system myself and i ended up going with an Israel brand Provision ISR they are not a cheap camera made in china and Israel have always been very strong with their security.
