Hey everyone I am scheduled for both of these surgeries and wanted to ask what are your thoughts about these surgeries especially the complications and mainly Turbinectomy? I was reading about Empty nose syndrome after Turbinectomy and it doesn't seem like a great thing to suffer from after an elective surgery. Though it is reported to be rare.

Deviated septum and blocked nose issues
AH, I had that (ostensibly from a car accident)and while I still have the deviated septum I relieved ALL blocked nose issues through dietary changes and a neat nasal spray call 'sinofresh', not sure if it's still available though? So you 'may' have other options before going to surgery (I am not a doctor).
I don't think Ozbargain is the kind of place to be asking these questions. Do you need our help finding a cheap surgeon? Dr Nick Riviera?
I posted it in health forum stating i am already scheduled for surgery. So don't think i need two surgeons to do it.
One of these might help? With the blocked nose (rather than the deviated septum!)

I had both procedures done last year.
Unfortunately, for me there was no improvement on my sinus/nasal congestion after more than 6 months.
I am now back on the medicated nasal spray and saline rinse.
Why do you need them?
