As per title, I'm chasing a cheap, reliable external HD for use on a Wii U. 1TB should be enough.
Looking forwards to your recommendations!
Thanks

Nah. I bought a digital version of Minecraft for my daughter ages ago and didn't have enough room on the SD card to download it.
Is it really for just 1 game?
You know you could upgrade the SD card for less than getting a hard drive.
Have you gone through and deleted junk data? You could make a backup of all the files and pop the SD back in empty and download the game.
It's only 400mb, 1tb is overkill.
Ah ok. I thought it was larger. I haven't checked it for months. I'll use the hard drive for a Nintendo Switch when I get her one for Christmas too.
I use a USB rather than a hard drive for mine, I use a 128 gig one, I would keep an eye out for deals like https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/203533
Just a heads up. Nintendo do not recommend flash media for external storage.
I'm like, pfft, my low usage isn't going to kill a flash drive. So I put an 8GB Kingston in. Probably a year later and it corrupted. Luckily, the save files were still accessible and it was just the game installs that were corrupted.
I now have an old platter external as storage (more likely to fail in my opinion)
My point is, back up your save data whatever media you use.
Are you pirating games?
