Power Bank for an iPad Mini

Hi, we are heading off on a big trip YAY and the little one will have unlimited iPad usage when on planes, trains and in automobiles… keeps everyone happy. :)

Can anyone suggest a Power Bank that will help keep an iPad Mini alive for a few extra hours?

    Anker powercore series. Kinda expensive compared to others but if you want the best quality, then thats my pick.

    Xiaomi powerbanks are great. Just make sure you get the highest mAH (milliamp hours) you can afford.

        I highly doubt that is 50000 mAH especially at that price. I would stay away.

          Right. Ok, so back to the search box. Would 50000 mAH be enough or should I be aiming higher?

          Would not trust a no name branded battery bank with a capacity of 50000mAh. There's no way they can cram that much battery in a thin design like that. It's more likely to be 5000mAh size.

          Stick to well known branded battery packs because
          - some other packs can discharge while not in use
          - may cause a "fire" due to using cheaper components
          - can break in a few days/weeks leaving you with a paperweight
          - can cause damage to your devices while charging

          Some branded batteries I tend to go for are
          Xiaomi - look for genuine, there's bargains on here

          as for size, go for around 20000mAh or more - should give you about 2.5 times the juice

          @saki100: I think 10000 is ideal for an iPad Mini. It can do two full charges before you need to recharge.
