Searching for Universal TV upright stand

Hello folks, I was just wondering if any might have an idea of where I might source something like this locally?

I'm keen on raising my TV a few more centimeters off my TV table and was initially going into wall mounting but was deterred because I wanted all the cables invisible and the fact that my wall is gyprock over brick.

Next option I was going to do was a DIY riser like I did with my PC monitor, I already even listed all the parts I would need. It was during this step that I discovered the above "Universal TV stand." I figured if I could get this locally at reasonable cost, it would save me the effort.

      Hahahaha. Believe me, if I was living alone, that would certainly be the solution of choice.

    If you don't already have a sound system, you might want to get a sound base. I have a Sony HT-XT1 under my TV, and it sounds so much better. It's also good for streaming music over BT.

      Nope, we don't have a sound system, and yes, I've heard them and they certainly sound better than the built-ins, but to be completely honest, haven't felt the urge to add them in.

      I actually hooked up decent speakers just to the headphone output just because I had them lying around. They also sound better than the built-ins, but no one in the family (including me) ever turns them on. I guess the built-ins have crossed the threshold of "does not suck enough to bother"
