Hello
Where do people buy cr2032 batteries these days?
Quick google search shows kogan sells 10 for $5, other stores have branded ones for $2-3 each. More mystifying are rechargeable cr2032 batteries- does anyone have experience with these?
Cheers

Do they work as well as branded ones?
I buy branded ones on eBay.
- Supermarkets
- Discount Stores
- Daiso
0p is literally the exact target audience for that deal…
What are they for?
Remote control? no point buying rechargeable if you only change them every few years.
It is for a power meter which should be replaced after approx 160hrs of riding
I have bought the cheapest on ebay but had poor results. They are usually probably pretty old, and then as I don't use them often so half have been dead by the time I needed them
Thats what i am concerned about
Then ey take donkeys years to come too. What we really need is someone to test a reliable source eg. Kogan and tell us how they are. I have a proximity key for my car and have to replace the battery about every year it seems, and apart from that I have active 3d glasses and while I don't use them much on the odd occasions when I do want to batteries aren't always ready.
I buy reputable brands e.g. Maxell on ebay, with a stated expiry date (the last lot were December 2022), and I've had a good experience with them. They cost a little extra but they last longer.
I've also had some real value for money from the brands you've never heard of, which are really cheap. But I've sometimes had to throw the last few out.

Ikea have a pack of 8 for $4 currently.
However, I recall buying the same pack for $2 last year so look out for specialsDiscount $2 stores usually sell a multipack for a cheap price.
4 for $5 at Kmart

Sounds like ones I needed for kids Thunderbird toy, found them in local $1 so in the valley in brisbane
They are called 2032 button batteries due to their size — 2.0mm thick and 32mm diameter. If you ever need another for a toy or device, the easiest way to find the right one is measure the sizes (after reading the labels :)).
Good one!
