I love ridiculous comments such as yours that have no basis in reality. Makes me laugh so hard.

Depends what you are after, they have some great prices on Sennheiser, eg HD600, and the 700, cheaper than getting from overseas.

Sure, not everybody is into $300-$700 head phones, some people are.

Check out the prices on the other stuff, not just Audio Technica.

Also it's a real shop front, so option if JB have the same item is a price match if you don't live near Kew.

Sure, some audiophile stuff is over the top even for me e.g. monster cables, etc BUT for some people it's a hobby, like some people are into sports cars, fishing boats, watches, etc.

Might be a generational thing ……. I hate blue tooth speakers, my nephews love them and can't understand why anybody would have a listening room with large stereo speakers taking up so much room.

      • Did you just call monster cable "audiophile"?

    • same

    Demo Products.

Not really a bargain as there will only be one of each generally?

  • The model should be so much cheaper right now, it's been discontinued and was replaced with different model (ATH-E40 I believe? Might've been different number).

Anyways, good find. Pity it's out of stock :(

  • Sale prices are regular retail prices for a lot of these.

Not a bargain, limited to qty of 1 ex demo unit.

      And sold out now too

Wouldn't support a mob like this with my cash.
They use physics altering descriptions to push audiophile bullshit.

      • +1

they have very good deals and sometimes popular deals here

      • +2

a lot of their stuff is mainstream e.g Sennhesier headphones don't need physics altering descriptions.

JB Hifi and their upselling of HDMI cables "this expensive HDMI cables is better than the cheaper one", that is snake oil.

      • +1

A lot of their Ultrasone stuff is well below market price.

        Real good deals in there.

  • $78 for the ATH-ANC33iS is a decent price for low cost noise cancelling earphones

  • I have the IM70 and it is not a good fit in my ear. Should have bought vsonic or westone again :/

  • Looks like junk to me

Sweet, thanks for the advice. Keep us in the loop when you have any other flashes of insight.

    • Junk, more like crap

Pretty average sale prices, most of what I saw is available every day for roughly the same or less.

Like, ie800s for $719 isn't cheap at all, and they never sell for $1199.

HE400is for $550 are the same story.

KEF LS50s are $1995 literally everywhere. So that's a sweet 0% off clearance sale.

Same with all the Sonos gear, it's the exact same price at JBH every day.

I've bought a fair amount of stuff from A2A, and they are good guys… but this is a bullshit sale.

  • Cool, so you can get these headphones for $350 https://addictedtoaudio.com.au/collections/easter-stock-clea…
Or you can get them ex-demo for $400 https://addictedtoaudio.com.au/products/copy-of-audio-techni…

  • Abyss AB-1266 Lite Planar Magnetic Headphones

that is a lot of money to pay for a pair of ugly headphones.
