Spotted a great drone package at Officeworks today (Subiaco, WA).
Photo: https://imgur.com/gallery/C7Xtr

Parrot Bebop 2 Drone (Red) with the SkyContoller for $594, looked to be originally $1699.

Also saw the Parrot Bebop 2 Drone (Red) only for $548.
And the extra battery pack (Red) for $5!

Hope this tickles someone's fancy.

Maybe this one a better deal Parrot Bebop 2 FPV Drone White $787

    • FPV is illegal in Australia for most people

        Not quite

        • +1

Most people in Australia are not member of model flying association. So for them.. no legal FPV.. for those that join MAAA it is still restrictive …

          Look below for relevant parts..

          CASA state:
You should only fly in visual line-of-sight, in day visual meteorological conditions (VMC). What does that mean?
          No night flying (generally).
No flying in or through cloud or fog, and you should.
Be able to see the aircraft with your own eyes (rather than through first-person-view [FPV, binoculars, telescopes]) at all times, (unless you operate under the procedures of an approved model flying association. Contact the MAAA for more information about flying FPV).

          MAAA state:
To comply with CASA’s regulations, the person operating a model aircraft
has to be able to see it continuously. Pilots flying FPV model aircraft, except in the
manner outlined in the policy, cannot do this as they are virtually inside the model.

You'd be mad not to spend the extra $250 and buy a DJI, or if you absolutely only have $600 to spend buy a used DJI, or buy one from banggood

Man these things have tumbled in price. Probably about the price point they should have launched at. Maybe then they would have some market share. Might be too late now the way DJI is going.
