Sub $600 Compact/Point & Shoot/Mirrorless Camera Recommendations?

Hey guys, I'm currently in the market looking for a smaller camera + lens (preferably mirrorless). I have had a look at the Sony A5100, Canon M3 and a handful of others. I know that these might be slightly older models but my max budget is $600. Used or new, I don't mind.

In terms of usage, I'd be generally doing food photography/videos and taking portrait photos (slow motion video would be a cool bonus to have). I am not overly experienced with photography so something entry-level and hassle free would be the best option for me.

Features preferred:
- 180 tilting LCD screen (for self-portraits)
- Touchscreen
- NFC/Wifi/Bluetooth

Thanks for the help!

Base on your requirements and sub 600 my pick would be used LX100, LX10, or Panasonic GX7 and 20mm F1.7 If you strech abit then look at the Fujifilm X-E2 + 18-55mm or the A6000 + 24-70mm FE zoom lens (dont go for the pancake 16-50)

Out off all above recommendations I personally like the Fujifilm X-E2 and the 18-55mm F2.8-4 most. Which would give u very good images, best colour of all, also is a portal for you to one of the very exciting system! A few kits was sold used for 630-650 on eBay.

    • Only the LX10 has the flip out screen the OP wants.

Sony A5100 has one, bit more expensive though.

      • haha I know, u can always flip the camera back and look i to the lens for ur reflection, I do it all the time. If you restrict your self to the flip up screen you are limiting your self from many better options.

Great series. I was able to get a refurbished rx100 III from sony last year for $615 with 12 months warranty and its been an amazing camera.

      • I bought mine brand new original 1st one at $720 back in 2012, still love it, the best camera ever I owned :)

        • I have an rx1 from 2013 and it's still a truely amazing camera.
More than 20'000 photos later and it's still impresses
