Recently bought something on ebay for $50 free postage. The CHOCCY code worked and it was billed through my cc for $40.
2 days later the seller rejects my method of payment and reinvoices me through paypal, and disabling me from using CHOCCY. What can i do other than copping a negative feedback? Im not paying the extra $10 on principle.

I assumed it was a seller store that was selling multiple items.
In your 'my ebay' tab do you have the option of paying there? or is it marked at paid already?
Marked as paid. Refund received too. It was a private seller selling a ps4 game.
@I like bacon: maybe explain you only purchased it due to the $10 discount. If they can relist the product (at their cost) before the CHOCCY expiry date you will buy, at least thats what I would do.
If hes a new seller. he probably did or didnt realise the ebay fees where so high for him so trying to bypass them using paypal only.
Just say no, and demand ebay only.
Also complain to ebay that the buyer is trying to avoid ebay fees.

I am confused. I thought Ebay sales had to accept paypal and to use the CHOCCY code you had to pay via paypal?
so I paid, and inserted the code on Ebays website. The guy bounced my payment and reinvoiced me through paypal. I have no way to pay again through ebay, and paypal doesnt allow me to put in the code anywhere.
Ah. I would explain it to the seller using the ebay messaging system and if they refuse or play up then raise it with ebay. They would have a record that you tried to resolve it and it should move forward quicker.
