Can you suggest a mini pc for my living room. I want to connect it to a large 60 inch tv and use it for High definition video streaming, VlC, torrenting and web browsing. No gaming.
It will not be my main pc.
It has to have windows on it.
I have an external Hard drive I can connect it to for additional space.
Budget is around $400.

That's a good suggestion. I have a asus rt-ac68u router. I don't know much about this kind of thing but would It slow down the internet if someone was watching a movie wirelessly at the same time?
looks like its dual band, make sure your tv box is on one band, and everyone else on another. Thats how mine is set up.
Alternatively, is ethernet an option?
Not really, I don't fancy running wiring through different rooms.

I use an android boot on my box, but the voyo looks pretty sleek.
One thing to note is that its only a single band 2.4G wifi.
Also reviews suggest wifi connectivity intermittency.

Just reading up on the Voyo v3. Looks quite good. Anyone know if there's anything better.
Currently using two NUC's, both hooked up to TV's, here. Both running Windows 10. Working just fine.
why multiple nucs?
Possibly multiple tv's.

Why dont you just torrent from a normal computer and connect your hard drive to your router?
Save and access everything wirelessly, then can get away with a lower range tv box. Save the $$$
