  • Are the discounts for annual ongoing? I presume the monthly one isnt.

  • I think I'll pass. This is in their terms and conditions.
"VanishedVPN will terminate in appropriate circumstances subscribers who are repeat infringers of either unlawfully copyrighted material or otherwise illegal content." I could pay for a year and be shafted for downloading a movie.

  • Discounts are for the initial payment period (so for 1 year on the annual plan).

All VPN providers, Telcos & ISPs will have this in their T&Cs. We can't be help responsible for customers using our service for illegal activities. You should also read our Privacy policy, which tells you what we monitor and log.

Useless if you care about your privacy at all. They collect and store a lot of data/logs.

Yes, we do. We also don't log a lot of things. All of this is clearly stated in the Privacy policy. If you compare what we log to what the ISPs are now obliged to log under the Data Retention Scheme, you will see there is quite a difference.

Comparing you to an ISP is like comparing apples and oranges. I compare you to other VPN providers and you come up short.

+++ if I could, VPN includes the word private, maybe here the "n" stands for "no!". At least they do say that they log I suppose. Ah. maybe it's Vanished Privacy Network.

You mention the data retention scheme as a reason to sign up. But given you're domiciled in Australia, doesn't that mean you are also legally required to implement a data retention plan? Meaning someone using your service is not actually protected from the data retention scheme?

Like these guys for instance: http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20160624/pdf/43832xxhmwp49f.pdf

  • Just tried to use the easter50 code but it's saying it's expired!
