        I have both a tiger and a tatung.

        The tiger is more for rice. The tatung is multi purpose, while it can cook rice beautifully, I use it for for steaming stuff like fish, dumplings/sticky rice etc

    Agree no deal here. Although the rice cooker is solid. The cooking method is essentially steaming rice rather than boiling rice, which is how the Japanese rice cookers work.
